The hike to Packsaddle Lake is well worth the effort, as you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the Tetons and a gorgeous mountain lake.

Parking – Unlike other resorts the parking is free here! On weekends and holidays it is best to get up early to park closer! We leave the house at 8am on popular days.
Lifts – The lifts open at 9am and the last one closes at 4pm. Lines at Targhee are typically short – if you wait for more than 5 minutes that is unusual.
Lessons – All our kids learned to ski/board here. We think they have some of the best instructors in the world! You can usually walk in and get placed for the day, but I know they appreciate pre-booking to plan.
