Nobody wants car trouble on vacation, but things do happen. If you need quick and affordable car help, Kaufman’s OK Tire is where you want to go. Located in downtown Driggs, they tackle just about any car emergency.

Teton Valley Meats is new in town and always expanding its offerings. But it is currently Driggs’ only dedicated butcher and, as such, it has a lot of unique, locally-sourced options.

It may not look like much on the outside, but El Valle is sure to blow you away with their delicious offerings. The portions are hearty and are sure to live you more than full. It may not be the healthiest option in the valley, but it is mighty tasty.

It is hard to describe the beauty of the Tetons as seen from the basket of a hot air balloon. It is best you simply check it out for yourself. There are a number of outfits in Driggs that provide the experience, including Elevated Ballooning, which provides the most intimate experience.

Adored by everyone from longtime locals to superstar rap star Kanye West (I’m not kidding), Victor Outdoor Seconds is an absolute treat. Go in to browse and you are almost sure to find a half-dozen steals that you’ll just have to buy.

This grocer carries quality local products, including produce, meat, milk, and eggs. But don’t forget to check out their deli counter and order a sandwich to-go. We adore the Teton Club.

This local gem brews a wide variety of ales and lagers, all of which are delicious. The brewery even attracts seasonal food trucks. So stop by for a flight and take in the beautiful views while you are at it!

Parking – Unlike other resorts the parking is free here! On weekends and holidays it is best to get up early to park closer! We leave the house at 8am on popular days.

Lifts – The lifts open at 9am and the last one closes at 4pm. Lines at Targhee are typically short – if you wait for more than 5 minutes that is unusual.

Lessons – All our kids learned to ski/board here. We think they have some of the best instructors in the world! You can usually walk in and get placed for the day, but I know they appreciate pre-booking to plan.
