What amenities are available at the property?
Each property managed by Wydaho Property Management has a unique set of amenities — we recommend that you check individual unit pages to see what amenities are available at each property. But, if you need more information, please contact us, and we can let you know if a particular amenity is present or if we can accommodate supplying it for your stay.
What is provided at the rental?
Each rental is stocked with fresh linens on each bed, a body towel and washcloth for each potential guest, hand towels in each bathroom, and kitchen towels. We also provide shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner, as well as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry pods (if applicable), and trash bags. Guests must bring their own personal grooming items, grocery items, and any other items that are important for you to have during your stay.
How do I contact someone if I have any questions or concerns?

For non-emergency questions or requests, please reach out through the platform on which you booked. For more urgent matters, you can call or text our office line at 208-999-3387. Post-Booking

When will I receive my check-in instructions?

You will receive your detailed access instructions 4 days prior to arrival. If you’ve booked less than 4 days out from your arrival, you will typically receive the instructions within an hour of booking. In either case, this will come either through the booking platform or via email.

These instructions will include your access pincode to the smart lock or lockbox, directions to the property, a digital guidebook, local recommendations, and more.

Can I check-in early?

During the high seasons (summer and winter), it is rare for units to be ready early. However, we do our best to accommodate requests for early check-ins.

While we are unable to make any guarantees, we will put in requests with our housekeeping team and alert you if the property is ready ahead of our usual 3pm check-in time.

Can I check-out late?

As our staff needs adequate time to thoroughly clean and prepare the property, we often cannot accommodate checkouts later than our stated 10am checkout time.

However, if you contact us no later than 6pm the night prior to checkout, we will put in the request to our housekeeping staff and let you know if we can accommodate a late checkout.

If we arrive early, where can we store our belongings?

Please contact us and we can sometimes make arrangements to store your belongings at our office in Driggs until your unit is ready for check-in.

Can I have items shipped directly to the unit?

We do not allow people to send items directly to the rental prior to arrival.

If you need to send items prior to arrival, we ask that you send them directly to our offices — we are happy to receive, store, and deliver packages at a cost of $10/package.

Larger items, such as luggage or gear, will be charged at $30/package.

Please address all packages to the following name and address:

Things To Note

Access to Yellowstone National Park?

Access to Yellowstone National Park varies from year to year, depending on seasonal conditions. Typically, the West Entrance, the entrance closest to Teton Valley, is open from early-May to late-October.

In the winter, the only way you can access Yellowstone is by booking a professional snowmobile or snowcoach tour.

As conditions are subject to change, we strongly recommend checking the National Parks Service website for up-to-date information before planning your visit to Yellowstone.

Access to Grand Teton National Park?

While Grand Teton National Park is open year-round, there are significant limitations during the winter season. From early November to late April, some roads, all campgrounds, and most visitor facilities are closed or have reduced hours.

As the weather can have an impact on these closures, we strongly recommend checking the National Parks Service website for up-to-date information before visiting the park.

Is air conditioning available?

Please note that the majority of our units do not have air conditioning — A/C is a rare amenity in our area as the summer season is so short and the temperature drops significantly at night.

Many people in the area employ “mountain air conditioning” to help keep their homes cool — here is how it is done:

  • Keep your windows and blinds closed during the day.
  • 4pm is usually the hottest part of the day so don’t be alarmed if things are warm upon arrival.
  • The evenings in Teton Valley are usually cool and comfortable — temperatures often reach down into the 50s during summertime — so this is a good time to open the windows and let the cooler air in.
  • In the morning, close the windows and draw the blinds to keep the cooler air in and the hot sun out.

If air conditioning is a must, please filter our properties using the “air conditioning” option and/or review the amenities section of the listing to ensure air conditioning is available.

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

When booking directly through our site, we have the following cancellation policy:

“Guests may cancel for free until 5 days before check-in. After that, guests may cancel before check-in and get a 50% refund, minus the first night and service fee.”

Please note your reservation is not confirmed until you have paid for your reservation.

Our cancellation policy varies by platform, so please review the details of your reservation if booking through another website.

What is your pet policy?

Due to different rules and regulations governing different neighborhoods and properties, our pet policy varies depending on the unit. Please refer to the information on each individual listing to ensure that you book a pet-friendly home if you plan to bring a pet along.

Exceptions to the pet rules can only be made for certified service animals who have been trained to perform specific tasks to assist people with disabilities. Emotional support animals do not qualify for this exception.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we do require full payment upfront to make a reservation. If you book directly through Wydaho, however, you enjoy the most flexible cancellation policy.

Owners

Why do I need a property manager?

Whether you are looking for a getaway exclusively for you or your family or are interested in an investment that produces an income stream, homes need care and attention. Working with a trusted local company like Wydaho Property Management to watch over your property will give you peace of mind that everything will be cared for, maintained, and ready for you or guests when they come to Teton Valley.

In some cases, a property manager is legally necessary as the cities of Driggs and Victor require that a local representative be available in case of emergency.

What services does Wydaho provide?

Wydaho provides a wide-range of services, including vacation rental management and caretaking.

We also contract with local providers to arrange services such as landscaping, snowplowing, hot tub maintenance, and more.

What are Wydaho’s fees?

For vacation rental management, Wydaho collects 20% of rent received — the lowest rate in Teton Valley.

For caretaking services, we offer a tiered plan so that you can select the service best suited to your needs.

For home cleaning, we calculate the cost based on the time it takes to clean the home.

Are you locally owned?

Yes, Wydaho Property Management is owned by Alta residents Jim and Mary Sheehan. It is operated by their daughter, Emma Tomer, and her husband, Will, who live in Driggs. This means we are located a short distance from every property we work with, and we are well-connected to a variety of other local service providers.
