Wydaho Properties ("Wydaho," "we," "us," or "our") operates wydahoproperties.com and provides vacation rental services in Teton Valley, Idaho and Wyoming. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

When you book a stay

• Name, email, phone, mailing address
• Dates of stay, number of guests, property booked
• Payment information (processed by our payment partner — see §4)
• Government ID, if required by the property
• Special requests or accessibility needs you share with us

When you sign up for our newsletter

• Email address (required)
• First name (optional)
• Date, time, and IP address of signup
• The page you signed up on
• Confirmation timestamp (we use double opt-in)

When you submit a contact or owner-application form

• Name, email, phone, and any details you include
• Property information, if you're applying to list with us

Automatically, when you visit the site

• IP address, browser, device type, operating system
• Pages viewed and how you got there
• Cookies and similar technologies (see §6)

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

2. How we use your information

• Process and manage your reservation, including communicating with you before, during, and after your stay
• Send the newsletter you signed up for
• Respond to inquiries and owner applications
• Operate, secure, and improve the website
• Comply with legal obligations (tax, lodging regulations, etc.)
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

• Contract — to fulfill your reservation
• Consent — for the newsletter and any optional marketing
• Legitimate interests — to secure the site, prevent fraud, and improve our service
• Legal obligation — for tax records and required reporting

You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

4. Who we share your information with

We share information only with parties who help us operate, and only as much as they need:

Each of these has a Data Processing Agreement with us and may not use your data for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, or to comply with tax and lodging regulations) or to protect rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

If you are in the EU/UK, your data may be transferred to the United States, where our servers and most of our partners are located. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards for these transfers.

• Analytics to understand site usage
• Email tracking (open and click measurement) on newsletters

We use TLS encryption in transit, restrict access to authorized personnel, and review our systems regularly. No system is 100% secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
